The villa is composed of a main house and an annex.
In the main house, on the ground floor, we find the open plan living area with sofas, fireplace, TV and traditional brick kitchen area (equipped with stove, electric oven, vintage wood burning stove, dishwasher, etc.). From the kitchen area we can exit into the garden and pergola.
On the first floor, we have the sleeping area: one double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower; one double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower; one bedroom with two single beds that can be joined together to form a double and an en-suite bathroom with shower. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have mosquito nets.
On the lower level of the main house, we have the laundry area with washing machine, drying rack and one bathroom with shower.
In the annex, on the ground floor, we have an open plan kitchen with dining room (equipped with stove, fridge, freezer, sink) with internal and external staircase leading to the lower floor (located on a lower ground terrace due to the slope the villa is built on). On the lower/ground floor we find one double bedroom, table and chairs and one en-suite bathroom with shower. A portable air conditioning unit is available in the annex.
Outside, we are welcomed by a large and well-tended garden with private swimming pool (12x5m; 1.4m deep, internal steps; salt water treatment) which is fully fenced (90cm high fence) making it ideal for families with smaller children. There is a covered pergola with tables and chairs, and a wood burning oven with barbecue.
IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: The property has a huge part of the garden and swimming pool which is fenced with low voltage current (see last photo) to avoid damages caused by wild boars. The current is on from 17:00h till 07:00h, not during daytime. The fenced part of the garden has various entrances/exits. It is neither dangerous for human beings nor for animals.

Wir sind wieder zur\u00fcck aus unserem Toskana Urlaub! Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt, das Haus ist wirklich sehr sch\u00f6n und super eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Der Pool und der Essplatz in Freien sind traumhaft und wurden von uns ausgiebig genutzt. Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Highlights der Toskana zu erkunden und wir haben zahlreiche Ausfl\u00fcge unternommen. Auch ist Montecarlo ein reizender kleiner Ort mit einer sch\u00f6nen Festung und einigen sehr netten Restaurants. We spent 1 week in the house in Montecarlo (Lucca) in Tuscany. It was a week like in a dream.\n\nThe silence, the nature, the wonderful tuscan house - one word - unique.\n\nWe were 7 people (3 families) and it was very good to handle this in this area. The first time in our life that we made pizza in the \"stone pizza oven\"" by ourselves.\n\nEven the agency was very pleasant.
