The space

The house is located on a farming estate that has its own natural pond and produces olive oil and grains. This provides Podere Pulci's guests with the unique opportunity to observe the workings of a traditional Tuscan farm right on their doorstep.

The villa offers a magnificent view of the vineyards and olive groves of Montepulciano. The farmhouse has been beautifully restored by the owners, who have furnished it with traditional antiques combined with refined modern furnishings. The living quarters are on two floors and there is plenty of space, both indoors and out, for guests to take advantage of Tuscany in all seasons.

There are two superior suites of 60 sq metres (645 sq feet), two junior suites of 35 sq metres (375 sq feet), and three double rooms of 30 sq metres (325 sq feet).
All rooms and suites have their own private bathroom (5 with shower and 2 suites with hand held shower (bath tub) and all have king size beds.

A bright, modern kitchen (oven, hob, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster) opens through an archway into an equally bright and attractive dining room.
Leading off the dining room is a pergola that beckons guests outdoors to savour nature and the fresh air.

The farmhouse also has a cosy library with an open fireplace on the upper floor, a second sitting room in which to relax, and a fully equipped laundry room with washing machine and iron.

There is a large garden with olive and cypress trees, flowering shrubs, and aromatic herbs.
Guests can enjoy this marvellous garden while eating outdoors under the pergola of wisteria vines, taking in the sun by the swimming pool (16m x 8m, 1.4m deep) equipped with hydro-massage jets or simply stretched out on the soft grass that surrounds the entire farmhouse. There is also an outdoor shower next to the pool and BBQ.
Wi-Fi will be installed for summer 2011. Parking available within the grounds.

On request a cook is available to prepare sumptuous meals for guests and the wine cellar contains a selection of the finest wines of Montepulciano. Should you wish to have breakfast in the communal dining room this is on request and against payment.

Cooking courses can be arrange and should be pre-booked. Within the villa are some bottles of the typical Montepulciano vino. If you consume the wine then payment will be made to the owner at the end of your stay.

Included: swimming pool towels.

Within a short distance there is a well equipped sports facility that includes two tennis courts and a small soccer field. In addition, there is an olympic size swimming pool 300 metres (less than a quarter of a mile) away.
