It is walking distance to the cable car (800m) that allows guests to reach Taormina centre in just a few minutes (approximately 5 minutes car ride). Walking about 10 minutes towards Isola Bella beach and the cable car departure station, you will find along the street restaurants/pizzerias, 1 bar, 1 very good street food with typical Sicilian products , 2 minimarkets which also sell bread, 1 pharmacy and souvenir shops.
You will access the accommodation from the private parking area via a lift going down to each floor. The lift opens onto covered corridors with doors to the individual apartments including Villette Taormina. The lift takes also to the magnificent infinity swimming pool (usually open between May 1 - October 31; please enquire for specific dates).
THE APARTMENT
From the external corridor on the ground floor, you will access a large and beautifully furnished living room, with dining table for 6, 40" TV with Satellite channels with USB port, and doors to a spacious furnished terrace with full sea view. There is a kitchen with cooker, oven, kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
On the other side of the external (communal) corridor, you will find a second door located opposite the main entrance that leads to a room with double bed (size is 160x190cm) with bathroom with shower. Please note that this bedroom is separate from the main area of the apartment, therefore not suitable for young children.
On the first floor there is a spacious double bedroom (bed size 160x200cm) with sea view, and one bathroom with shower. From this floor, few outdoor covered steps lead to a further double bedroom (bed size 160x190cm) with en-suite bathroom with shower.
Facilities: air conditioning units in the bedrooms for cold and hot, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, 40" TV with USB port, hairdryer, private parking space, shared swimming pool, safe-box, table tennis in the building's communal area, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, kettle, gas hob, oven, toaster, carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector, coffee machine (capsules), bed linen, bathroom towels, pool towels.
The building has 2 lifts: one from the parking area (on the roof of the building which is at street level) that takes you to the apartments and to the pool area, and one larger lift (currently unavailable) that takes you from the apartments to the sea level access. From where the lift stops, there are about 20 steps to reach the sea level rocky platform access (currently unavailable).
PLEASE NOTE:
- The apartment can accommodate maximum 6 guests, including babies.
- The pool normally opens on May 1st, weather permitting. For May bookings, please keep in mind that if April has been particularly rainy or stormy, some condominium services may no work such as lift, ladder into the sea (if the sea has been stormy, it can be taken away by waves), parts of the rocks, etc. We kindly ask to keep the April weather in mind.
- When the pool is closed, the lift going down to see level is also closed. Pool is usually open between May 1 to October 31; please enquire for specific information if your dates are outside of these, or beginning of May - end of October, as it can sometimes vary.
- The step ladder that goes into the sea, is taken off by the building admin between September 20th and early October, so access to the sea is only possible via the rocks.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Marco was extremely helpful, and had excellent communication. He showed us everything we needed to know about the villa, The area, local recommendations, including restaurants and things to see. My kids loved the pool, even though it wasn’t heated my little Canadians still had a great time. We loved walking down to the beaches, as well as up to Taramina. It is easy to get around on foot bus or the cable car. The villa itself was beautiful, clean and comfortable. It had everything and more that we needed. We will definitely be back!
Stunning view, comfortable well equipped apartment, perfect location for exploring Taormina and the Catania region. Easy access to Taormina by car or cable car which is walking distance. Marco was a superb and helpful host.
Vi var sex personer som reste ner till Taormina, en familj. Vi hade bra rum med egna badrum. Vi hade en underbar terass att äta frukost på och en vidunderlig utsikt. Den privata stranden var lyx. Det hade inte gjort något om stegen funnits kvar. Delar av oss kunde inte bada. Poolen var jättefin, men lite kall och såklart årstiden gjorde sitt. Vi hade nära till byn, lite läskig del att gå första delen. Men man vande sig. Italien är inte Sverige. Marco som tog hand om oss var väldigt duktig som värd. Det fanns en hel del i kylskåpet redan när vi kom och han hade förberett med information på ett strukturerat sätt. Allt sex är nöjda.
Marco was the perfect host. Extremely friendly and always available with good suggestions and explanations on the place itself and its surroundings. The apartment is clean and according to the add. The view from the terrace and the main bedroom is breathtaking! We particularly liked the private area down by the water for swimming, even though the pool was amazing to. Having private parking was comfortable as parking in Taormina is not easy. 10 minute easy walk to cablecar to get to the center of the city. Several restaurants in walking distance from the apartment as well. I recommend Le Grand Bleu which is right next door. We will definitely be back!
If you are visiting Taormina, this location has perfect views of the Isola Bella beach and short walking distance to the center of town and a quick drive on a vespa up to the town center, waking up each more to the Isola Bella as the sun rises is breath taking
the house is very comfortable and very well equipped, we weren't without anything. the views from the very lovely balcony were fantastic and we spent lots of happy times sitting there overlooking the bay. the house is conveniently situated with only a few minutes walk down to the sea and beach or to shops and restaurants and the cable car which takes you up to the main Taormina town. We were very happy with the accommodation and location and would recommend.
We’ve been travelling as a family for several months and Marco’s home was by far, our favourite place. The views at all times of the day & night are incredible, the photos don’t do it justice. We spent many happy hours eating breakfast & having lazy lunches on the terrace. The pool is fantastic and the private beach access is incredible. If there was an award for best host, Marco would be our top choice. He is so kind and he went above and beyond to make us feel at home for our entire stay; from organising an early check-in, stocking the fridge with beer, wine & water, breakfast provisions for our 1st morning, fantastic local restaurant recommendations, help locating an emergency dentist and taking us to the train station after check-out. We were so lucky to have met Marco and would love to return to his very special home in Taormina. Thank you so much for everything Marco.
We had a fantastic stay. The villa is in such a beautiful location. There was plenty to do within walking distance and a short drive up to Taormina centro. This would be the perfect location for three couples looking for a Sicilian vacation. I highly recommend this property.
What a gem! The apartment was absolutely fantastic. A magnificent view of the bay and Isola Bella from the balcony. Stunning sunrises. The private beach on the rocks was magnificent. Marco was a super friendly and helpful host. When we arrived the fridge was full of cold beverages and breakfast for the next day. He also had some very useful recommendations for trips, restaurants and local transportation. All in all highly recommendable and worth every penny. We definitely hope to come back some time.
