It is walking distance to the cable car (800m) that allows guests to reach Taormina centre in just a few minutes (approximately 5 minutes car ride). Walking about 10 minutes towards Isola Bella beach and the cable car departure station, you will find along the street restaurants/pizzerias, 1 bar, 1 very good street food with typical Sicilian products , 2 minimarkets which also sell bread, 1 pharmacy and souvenir shops.
You will access the accommodation from the private parking area via a lift going down to each floor. The lift opens onto covered corridors with doors to the individual apartments including Villette Taormina. The lift takes also to the magnificent infinity swimming pool (usually open between May 1 - October 31; please enquire for specific dates) and to sea level below, where there is a private solarium reserved for all the apartments in the resort and equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas.
THE APARTMENT
From the external corridor on the ground floor, you will access a large and beautifully furnished living room, with dining table for 6, 40" TV with Satellite channels with USB port , and doors to a spacious furnished terrace with full sea view. There is a kitchen with cooker, oven, kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
On the other side of the external (communal) corridor, you will find a second door located opposite the main entrance that leads to a room with double bed (size is 160x190cm) with bathroom with shower. Please note that this bedroom is separate from the main area of the apartment, therefore not suitable for young children.
On the first floor there is a spacious double bedroom with sea view, and one bathroom with shower. From this floor, few outdoor covered steps lead to a further double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.
Facilities: air conditioning units in the bedrooms for cold and hot, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, 40" TV with USB port, stereo, hairdryer, private parking space, shared swimming pool, safe-box, table tennis in the building's communal area, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, kettle, gas hob, oven, toaster, carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector, coffee machine (capsules), bed linen, bathroom towels, pool towels.
The building has 2 lifts: one from the parking area (on the roof of the building which is at street level) that takes you to the apartments and to the pool area, and one larger lift that takes you from the apartments to the beach. From where the lift stops, there are about 20 steps to reach the beach.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The apartment can accommodate maximum 6 guests, including babies.
- The pool normally opens on May 1st, weather permitting. For May bookings, please keep in mind that if April has been particularly rainy or stormy, some condominium services may no work such as lift, ladder into the sea (if the sea has been stormy, it can be taken away by waves), parts of the rocks, etc. We kindly ask to keep the April weather in mind.
- When the pool is closed, the lift going down to see level is also closed. Pool is usually open between May 1 to October 31; please enquire for specific information if your dates are outside of these, or beginning of May - end of October, as it can sometimes vary.
- The step ladder that goes into the sea, is taken off by the building admin between September 20th and early October, so access to the sea is only possible via the rocks.

The apartment and surroundings were absolutely magical, with the most wonderful view. We were six adults and we have plenty of space. It was very clean and the pool area was delicious. It should be said that we were going from the 28.10 to 4.11. , so there weren't that many people. Would highly recommend the place.

On our second trip to Sicily we decided to try an extended stay in Taormina. Travelling with another couple, we picked this unit based on the web site pix and reviews. The condo development is literally in the hillside above Isola. You can miss it driving by as the only visible evidence is the topside parking lot, one of spaces to be assigned to your car for free (this is the only free thing in Taormina). We were met by the owner\/agent, Marco. He is warm, informative, curious about his guests, and readily available for a tour of the facility and any questions. As others have written, the unit layout is a bit different, but it makes sense design wise. Its on three levels. Internally, on the main level there is a large common area for lounging and dining (kitchen is tight but has everything, including dishwasher) which leads to the private patio\/deck overlooking Isola from about 300 yards away. The patio is about 125 feet above the water, immediately below. The Calabrian coast sits in a haze across the horizon. One bedroom upstairs overlooks the same view. A second bedroom is accessed internally from the upstairs level and requires a few stairs up across a small, private and secure (locks on all doors) open air stair well area. The upstairs bedroom contains a washer\/dryer and has access to a small, private roof deck where the clothes line lives. The third bedroom is across the interior hall from the common room. This appartement with the beautiful view is the best one we ever found. It was nice and peaceful with an amazing view on isola Bella from the terrace and the pool. Also on the terrace at sea level the nature looks beautiful impressing. We loved the beautiful town with all the shops and restaurants and visited the Etna and the beaches. Marco was the best and sweetest host and helped us with everything. He was even there for us when we arrived in the middle of the night after a long delay. Thank you so much Marco! We will never forget this beautiful trip.

We had a wonderful stay here - beautiful views that you can never tire of, the apartment is comfortable and very well equipped. Two of the bedrooms are set slightly apart which is great if you have older children or guests in your party who like a bit of privacy. The owner is very kind and helpful, and made lots of suggestions to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We loved spending time by the infinity pool and the experience of using the lift to access the private solarium (great snorkelling and sea caves). And easy access to Taormina and nearby areas either on foot or by bus. We loved our time here, thank you for making us so welcome.

We stayed in the apartment for 7 days and it was comfortable and spacious. The view from the balcony is absolutely amazing, looking directly out onto Isola Bella and its public beach. It was lovely getting up in the mornings and opening the doors and having a coffee on the balcony taking in the view. The apartment is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of glasses, cutlery and plates and we were even left some water in the fridge for our arrival. Things to note. 1 - This is one of many attached apartments all built into the cliff face. Whilst it is a 3 bedroom apartment, the 2nd and third bedrooms are on the other side of a public hallway. This was fine for us as we had teenage children but may be an issue for anyone travelling with young children. 2 - As the apartment is built into the cliff face, we found that the additional two rooms did have a bit of a smell, but nothing too bad. 3 - 7-10 min walk to closest caf\u00e9 and minimart.

Marco (our host) was very welcoming and informative. He responded to any questions during the week. Terrace view is amazing. Pool area is also lovely. Apartment has everything you need. Walk to the funicular isn\u2019t too taxing and we\u2019ll worth it for the shops and restaurants in the town centre.

Leiligheten stod til forventning. Marco som tok imot oss er en str\u00e5lende vert. Litt trangt kj\u00f8kken men det visste vi. (Funket fint) Fin terasse med en fantastisk utsikt over havet og til Isola Bella. En flott badeplass privat for leilighetskomplekset. Klipper ned i sj\u00f8en med badestiger. Helt perfekt for oss. Taubane eller en trappetur opp til Taormina der det kryr av restauranter og butikker. Egen parkering med bom var supert da parkering I Taormina ikke er enkelt \u00e5 f\u00e5. Kjempefint basseng som \u00abhenger\u00bb ut fra klippene ut over havet. Bildene lyver ikke.

The apartment was excellently equipped with wonderful views over Isola Bella, which was a short walk from the apartment. Our children loved the pool, which we virtually had to ourselves, and the table tennis table was great entertainment for them as well. We didn't use the private beach on the rocks below as our children are young, but with older kids \/ adults, this would've been lovely. The property owner was so incredibly helpful - advised us on how to get there from Catania Airport by bus (only 7 Euros pp, drops you off 100m from the apartment - very easy) and then met us at the bus stop to help with our luggage, and then did the same on the return. He also thought ahead about how the bed layout might work with our young children, so it was all perfectly ready for when we arrived. Everything we needed was there, so we could instantly relax and enjoy our holiday. A huge thank you!

V\u00e4gen till och fr\u00e5n l\u00e4genheten kanske inte \u00e4r s\u00e5 s\u00e4ker, s\u00e4rskilt inte om man har mindre barn (det saknas delvis en trottoar) men det g\u00e5r att ta sig till den lilla byn utan problem. Vi \u00e4r supern\u00f6jda med det mesta. V\u00e4dret p\u00e5 Sicilien i maj kan vara lite s\u00e4mre \u00e4n vi t\u00e4nkte s\u00e5 det innebar ju att det inte var s\u00e5 bra badv\u00e4der men n\u00e4r det \u00e4r det s\u00e5 \u00e4r som sagt poolen toppen och \u00e4ven den h\u00e4ftiga avsatsen nere vid havet, dit man kan ta b\u00e5de hissen och trappan. V\u00e4rden f\u00f6r l\u00e4genheten, Marco, \u00e4r otroligt v\u00e4nligt och hj\u00e4lpsam p\u00e5 alla s\u00e4tt och vi fick hj\u00e4lp med snabba svar fr\u00e5n b\u00e5de Cristina och Marco.
