Furthermore, the beach of Marina Della Lobra is only 300 metres away and can be reached via a private path of 100 steps directly from the villa. There, you will be able to find seaside restaurants and amenities. A car is recommended and it can be parked in a reserved parking space large enough for two vehicles, found at street level.
Access to the villa is from the main street through an electric gate and down a private foot path of around 300 metres. Please bear in mind that this is a steep descent and cars cannot fit. It is possible upon request to reserve a porter service for your arrival and departure to help with luggage, or additionally to help with groceries and heavy items.
The villa develops over 250 sq.m and two levels.
On the ground floor we find a large and bright air conditioned living room with sofas (one of them is a single sofa bed) overlooking the sea through large windows, TV and direct access to the terrace. There is a table with chairs for 12 and a fireplace. The large kitchen is equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, stove, etc. and it also has the laundry room with washing machine. There is one guest bathroom with toilet and sink only.
An internal staircase takes us up to the first floor where we have the sleeping area with: one single sofa bed in the hallway; one double bedroom with fan and access to a terrace via French doors; three double bedrooms each with air conditioning and access to a terrace; one twin bedroom with two single beds and air conditioning as well as access to the terrace. There are two separate bathrooms on this level, both with bathtub and shower head. One additional bathroom with shower, access from the hallway.
The beds are standard Italian sizes (160x190cm for the doubles; 80x190cm for the singles).
Outside, the villa has a private swimming pool (6.5x5.5m; 1.2-2.2m deep; open from April to October) equipped with sun lounges and umbrella. The terrace offers stunning views across the sea and is furnished with sofas, armchairs, as well as a table with chairs for al-fresco meals.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. There were 8 of us, 4 adults and children ranging in age from 11-17. Plenty of space for all of us, and you can't beat the view. The air conditioning worked really well (super important) and the check in process and communication was superb. I would say, I regret not taking advantage of the porter service offered @ 60 euros, roundtrip. We were NOT prepared for the walk down to the house from the street. It is a VERY steep incline, and we would dread the walk up to catch the car to dinner- by the time we reached the top we were all sweating and out of breath. Definitely head down to the town that is is walkable- like 10 minutes- very small, but some a few good restaurants and easy in\/out, reasonably priced. The kitchen could use some updating- it took us days to figure out the (sorry to say it, archaic) coffee maker that made one cup at a time. It would be so worth it to provide a nice espresso\/coffee machine since the house is so remote and you can't walk to grab one in the morning. The oven was missing some knobs- luckily we didn't plan to cook at all, but if you were, you might be in a bind. Like I said, amazing view, kids spent hours in the pool and we would return for sure.

I personally did not get to stay at this location because of the passing of a friend. But, Cristina understood the circumstances and let me easily allow one of the friends traveling with the group in charge. My friends said it was a wonderful place. They truly enjoyed their stay!!

Everything was as presented. The town is idyllic and we rented a boat to Capri right from the local port. The people and host were kind and responsive: the view was absolutely incredible and the house was clean. It just would have been amazing to have better linens - sheets and towels. Also would have been great to have shampoo and soap upon arrival rather than having to go out for it.. Pool was clean and tended to. We would definitely go back!

We had absolutely the best time here in Massa Lubrense. It was the best weekend many of us have ever experienced and being right outside of sorrento in a quiet town was really nice. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the marina where our boat tour left from. Alfonso was also incredibly responsive and helpful with organizing check in and rides to sorrento. It is in an amazing location right on the water where swimming is available. It is a steep walk\/drive down the hill however so best for able bodied people!

Booked Villa for a girls trip. Amazing view, clean and cool pool and perfect for large groups! we enjoyed the easy water front access and made use of the large kitchen for group meals. The walk down from the road to the Villa is quite steep, recommend to book the luggage service. The Villa was very helpful with transfers and we found this was the most affordable option for exploring the coast. Our agent was also very helpful with activities and advice prior to arrival. Be sure to bring plenty of toilet paper for larger groups and cash for deposit and cleaning fee, which they requested up front. Thanks for a great, memorable stay!
