The space

Villa Ortali is located near Lecce, a town where its history goes back a long way: you can still see ruins of a Roman theatre and amphitheatre, but the period which led to town's current fame was the 17th century. A period of prosperity led to grand developments and the wholesale construction of palaces and churches. These buildings adapted the fashionable Baroque style to the soft local stone, with decorations and cherubs extravagantly covering facades and doorways. This local style is known as barocco Leccese.

The property develops over one level, entering the house you will find on the right hand side the living room and the kitchen with dining facilities; whilst on the left hand side besides we have the second sitting area. From the dining area, you will have access to the external area of this villa, where you could find two gazebos for al fresco dining.

The sleeping area consists of 4 double bedrooms. One of the double bedroom, which was built recently, has an en-suite bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi for 2 guests; in this room, it is possible to add a bunk bed (at extra charge) and make it a four-bed room. Another en-suite bathroom with shower is covered by refined marble. The villa can also accommodate 4 additional people on sofa beds.

The outside area offers an annex with changing rooms, toilet, and showers, a private pool 15m x 6m with a depth of 1,35m, sun loungers and gazebos for dining al fresco.
